Marque Oil & Gas successfully applied for a Promote Licence in the UK 30th Round.
The P2409 licence area included two low-risk West of Shetland discoveries in part-blocks 206-5a and 206-10a on the Rona Ridge in approximately 140m water, close to the giant Clair field.
The Freya discovery (1980) has a thick ~350m oil column in Clair Group Devonian sandstones.
Fulla, discovered in 2012 is a Cretaceous reservoir.
The license was relinquished in 2021.
